new beginnings

Hellooooo

So, I’ve been on this site before.  A long time ago.  And I really liked it.  So, I’m back and ready to give it another shot.

I’ve been on healthy binges many many times before.  I do good for a couple of months and maybe even lose 20 lbs.  But, then I get unmotivated and things dwindle out.  Then I seem to naturally gain everything back plus some.

So, I’m going to try and do this slowly and my way.  I will not be tracking my weight.  I hate using a scale.  Rather I am going to take my measurements weekly.  It’s more encouraging. To me at least.  I need to take my measurements and then I will be sure to post them here., soon.

I think my main problems are that: 1) I don’t eat enough throughout the day, which causes me to eat larger meals at one time. 2) I eat late at night and it’s usually terrible things. 3) I haven’t been exercising enough at all.

So, I’m going to try and get exercise in each and everyday. I think I may have one day of complete rest. But, I’m not sure what day. I’ll just see how I do.  I will be drinking at least 64 oz. of water a day.

Today I had a bagel with lightly spread raspberry cream cheese that I made and half a pear (I would have eaten it all, but it fell on the flooor!).  And I have started to drink out of my water bottle which is roughly 70 oz. and is flavored with lemon tea by crystal light.  It doesn’t have anything in it. Not even sodium I think.

I also just ordered some new work out dvds by Jillian Michaels. And a book: Minna Lessig’s book: Tank Top Arms, Bikini Belly, Boy Shorts Bottom.  I hope those things work for me. Oh and did I mention that I work at a gym?  Since decemeber ‘07 and I have probably worked out like 3 times. Terrible, I know.  We’ll see if I can change that.  I have a very open space to work out at home and I also have an elliptical there too. So, I have no excuses! I just need the motivation!
